Packaging Council AGM – Monday 6 November with special guest speaker and tour of NZME

Join us on Monday 6 November for the Packaging Council AGM to catch up on their activities over the last 12 months, and hear what’s coming for 2024.

Our special guest speaker is Dr Ganesh Nana, Chair of the Productivity Commission.  The Productivity Commission undertakes reviews across a number of areas to identify the policies and interventions that can enhance the resilience of New Zealand’s economy. They provide advice to the Government on improving productivity and this will have increased importance for NZ businesses following the election of a new Government.

Recent research undertaken includes:

    - Improving economic resilience

    - Immigration

    - Frontier firms

Following Dr Nana’s presentation there will be an opportunity to tour the NZME printing plant in Ellerslie with a chance to look at the advanced levels of automation that have been included into the plant.
